My monthly day off

Seriously, just like the post says, I am in a season of my life where I work at least a few hours everyday and am pleasured with one Saturday off per month. Which happened to be this past weekend. It was probably one of the best days off I've had in years! My entire family went out for $3.00 breakfast, including my very pregnant sister-in-law. She's due the beginning of March with my very first nephew... so stinkin' excited! Anywho, then I took my younger sister to Powell's Bookstore and spent the remaining 4 hours looking at books, reading, and chatting. We talked about ALL kinds of... stuff. ;) I will not even tell you about half of it, it was interesting to say the least, haha.  At one point, she was trying to teach me about Manga, a Japanese series of books that looks somewhat like a book of comic strips. She was explaining to me the different kinds, brands, and names and plot stories to some of them. "Laura, I feel like you're speaking to me IN Japanese!" It was fun but I still can't seem to retain all the Manga-info... I was in way over my head. Afterword we went across the street to Panera and ate soup with bread. OH MY GOSH! Their bread is to.die.for. I literally saved my last bite for last, except for the chocolate croissant that we shared. Mmm Mmm Mmm!
